Hi everyone!!! I apologize for being distant as of late. While work and being a full time student has certainly been challenging, the main cause of my recent burnout can largely be attributed to the Korean Media Rating system being... difilficult. They have turned down a good 80% of the videos I submitted including new ones, and it has been heart breaking to say the least, not to mention the submission fee they require each.god.damn.time.
As such, upon some deep alcohol enhanced contemplation, I have decided that it would be better to invest my time in photograohy rather than video shooting- due to the various constraints mentioned above- IN THE MEANWHILE.
One thing is for sure though, that obtaining a degree in college will aid my cause in leaving Korea and ultimately re-rooting myself in America where I can continue my.. art for the lack of a better word. This is going to require that I relinquish my Korean citizenship, under the pretense that I have cleared all of my fines (126k$) and have legally obtained green card or above status on American ground.
All in all to summarize this massive wall of text:
1. Believe me I have tried to make things work with Korean pornography standards but shit is unreal. Spent so much time editing only to have them turn me down every time for bull shit reasons like human rights. Each rating request is also 10$ USD and I have bled around 200$ with only 4 videos being approved.
2. If I am to continue my line of work- I need to focus on obtaining a degree at my current university + pay off all my fines so that I may relocate myself to America.
3. I feel like shit for not being able to provide the content I want to make for everyone here. You all are subscribing with hard earned money and I am not even close to delivering content worth the lowest subscription fee ATM.
